ISO

  • International Standards Organization
  • The ISO controls the sensitivity your sensor holds towards light
    • ↑ Increase ISO = Dark Room
    • ↓ Decrease ISO = Bright Room

Aperture

  • F-Stop, dependent on the Aperture ring
  • The Aperture helps you control the amount of light you let into your shot
    • ↑ High F-Stop = Small Hole, More Detail but Less Light
    • ↓ Low F-Stop = Large Hole, More Grain but More Light

Shutter Speed

  • Captures Movement
  • Shutter Speed controls the length of time your camera shutter is open
    • ↑ Fast Shutter = Dark Room, Frozen (Less Light)
    • ↓ Slow Shutter = Bright Room, Motion Blur (Soaks up Light)
